Hey! My name is Sam and I am a dancer currently studying a dual degree at QUT – Bachelor of Creative Industries (dance major) and a Bachelor of Business (accountancy major).

I am a bit of a nerd when it comes to numbers, hence the accountancy degree, but performing and being a part of creative initiatives is where my passion lies. I have a contemporary dance focus but have trained in ballet, jazz, and hip hop. I love contemporary dance due to its ability to fuse all dance styles and that it allows me to
truly connect to and affect an audience.

Recently I was involved as a performer in ‘Flash Company’ by Plan B, and am currently involved in ‘Tether’ one of The JH Project’s productions.

Right now I am focused on gaining as much performance experience that is thrown my way. I would love to travel overseas to perform or choreograph once I finish my degree. And when my old body can no longer move I aspire to utilize my business skills behind the scenes of dance companies or large performing art centres.
