My driving passion is the belief in the transformative potential of alternative economies. My background is in politics, community development and sustainable design. I’ve just launched a web-venue for contemporary handmade, ethical and fairtrade products. The idea is not just to provide and oulet for a niche group of designers to sell their products, but to also provide a network where up and coming labels can be guided in an ethical direction by their peers as their businesses grow.
